The Rapture: Victory and Defeat

Dear contenders,
friends,
ballet-dancers,

Every once in a while one contest grabs my attention, like a Star Wars-movie without Jar Jar Binks (Oh how I loath that awfull creature). In this case it was the Big Cookie Big Off '07, where I, Pete Thunders, had the extreme privilege to be the judge. Now this didn't really came as a such a big shock to me, due to the fact the invention of the cookie is very close to my heart. But let's us not drift in the fanastic delta of my even more fantastic personality.

Let's find out which way the cookie crumbled in the end.

First Up: Kristin "The Close Cookie Canadian"

The strength of her cookies was, that they had a very subtle pancake-undertone to them. This made the aftertaste very intense and yet not to heavy. Another, important factor, was that she made several of cookies. To my own shame I didn't count them but they kept my sastified for three days. Her cookies went excellent with the half-warm Coke. They gave me a sense of mental tranquillity, but yet a fresh feeling in my always hungry mouth.
The cookies had some nice dark chocolate in them, which made them highly addictive. It's actually a rather simple idea to combine them with chocolate, but none the less they make the experience of eating variated.
Though yet, I'm way too critical to only make pure proza about someone's cookies, no matter how good they are, if it was only for good sportmanship. So here are few points, the cookies could work on.
Some of the cookies looked a bit black on the bottomside, though I didn't had the feeling that cookies were too hard. So this is a pure esthetical judgement, though you also eat with your eyes.

Conclusion: good cookies

Opponant: "Jonathan the Luxerious Luxemburger"

Jonathan has the advantage of already having nickname rhyming on hamburger and don't forget "Nomen est omen". First thing you notice is that he has put hard work into his work. The cookies were wrapped nice, so it gave you the experience that you were opening a christmas-present.
The cookies were bigger than most cookies you know, so it's debatle if you can count them as cookies. The cookies were richly filled with other ingredients, so you could be flabbergasted by the rich taste of them. The after-flavour was gentle, but you could sense the finesse of the crumbly ensemble for a few moments afterwards in your mouth.
The weakness of the cookies, perhaps was in the fact they were to crumbly and therefore not easy to transport as individual piece. Another point I have to mention is only had 3 cookies, but that is partly fine due to size of the cookies.

Conclusions: Good cookies

OVERALL CONCLUSION:

WINNER: (by a coin 'cause I like them both as much and I let gravity decide in the end) Jonathan.

SO WELL DONE!

BOOH Kristen.

Over and Out.
